Create a Life of Balance

If you are new to yoga or simply looking for a good stretch Yin Yoga is the perfect practice to create balance. It is the relaxed practice of floor postures with long holds for the safe expansion of the joints and connective tissues of the hips, low back, neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, and ankles. Yin yoga is especially beneficial for joint injuries.  The postures in each practice counter the long hours of sitting in cars and at desks on computers, all part of our modern day world which leads to the tightening of muscles and the contracting of connective tissues that limits your freedom of easeful movement.

 Yin Yoga is complementary to vigorous exercise such as Cycling, Running, Weight training and more active forms of yoga.  Especially beneficial for healing injuries.  Unplug from smartphones, computers and the busy details of life.  Take time for yourself to relax and breathe.
